About Me
I grew up in small-town Texas but dreamed of living in New York ever since I was eleven. I remember people asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up and I would always answer, "I want to live in New York City!" Now that I'm an adult, I recognize they were asking me what job I wanted, but that has never been as clear to me. The only thing I've ever really known is that I belong in NYC. That said, True Emily Style is about my life here in the city- trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing, but loving every minute of it.
